The city of Balistad has many things to offer both to its residents and fellow travelers. Some may say otherwise, but it truly is a great place to reside if you're looking to one day accomplish the dream. Buildings parralel one another along the main streets, allowing easy access to shops, markets, and traders. Also known as "The City on a Cliff", the buildings are literally built into the cliff face. Stairs and walls of varying heights seperate the districts that rise up the cliff depending on social standings. The air is crisp with the smell of Saltwater and the sites are beautiful all year round. The richer side of town adorn their homes with balconies and onnings that provide luxurios escapes from the afternoon summer sun. The white stoned buildings decay the lower down one travels, as the salinity from the ocean just beyond eats away at the material. Upper class homes are always in prestine condition, while lower class are usually in needs of some repair.

Balistad has many districts and it is very easy for one to get lost amongst the many alleyways and avenues. Be cautious; however, like most large, prosperous cities Balistad has it's fair share of shady dealings. For the weak at heart the lower districts are not advised.
