Anyone from the age of 5 years upwards shall be accepted into the House’s ranks, however if they show enough promise and physical prowess. Youngsters from the age of 10 years old are applicable to either leave  The House of Ignus is and always has been a lot more secretive about plans and such, it’s very obvious that they are always up to something that would be frowned upon by many from other houses, but it’s not so obvious what they are planning. The House of Ignus makes a lot of profit from high end black market dealings, theft and assassinations. Most of the goings on in the House of Ignus would be frowned upon by the other houses. A very small amount of profit is made from honest earnings and respectable incomes. This House takes pride in raising young to be the strongest fighters that they can be and most are trained and taught the ways of the black market and theft. Physical reprimands are used frequently to discipline their young, many of the young who leave the House of Ignus usually have  scars on their body from disciplining sessions that, up until recently, were very regular. The past heads of Ignus thought it was very important to focus on the mental and physical toughness that comes with discipline as they used to believe that all animals in their Houses would go to war at some point in their life. Many youngsters to leave Ignus go on to become Master Assassins and Mercenaries. For the ones that choose to stay in the house… Well let’s just say that they are in for a rough ride. They are treated fairly and there is a mutual respect between the higher up ranks of the house and the lower subjects, but it is a rough place to be around if you don’t know who is who. Subjects of the Ignus household are usually a lot more hotheaded than other houses and approach situations without thinking clearly about the and before formulating a plan as such. Respect is reserved for the more skilled and the more advanced in magic. All members of the House of Ignus will carry a weapon of some form on their person, they are raised to always be able to defend themselves and to be able to fight their way out of any situation, these House members are very likely to get into regular fights and to cause havoc in any town setting they reside in.

Only a select few are deemed worthy of the training that the Ignus Household offers as part of their program.
