We're so glad you decided to join HoA, and a very important part of joining is creating your character. In the world that HoA has provided it's extremely easy to create a well rounded and unique character. On this page we will provide all the information you need to inventing an awesome character that will easily be accepted into our group family.
Don't forget to read the other pages provided to get a good idea of what the group has to offer. It'll help members fully immerse themselves into the group.

Let's start with the base. In the world of HoA you can choose from 5 base animals. The Rabbit, The Raccoon, The Fox, The Cat, and The Red Panda. Each of these animals have their own special qualities but it's entirely up to personal preference on which you choose. Their are no current limits on how many of each we allow in so choose the one that best fits your character and we can move on! Just below this little snippet we have provided some minor restrictions to keep things in sync so keep in mind to follow these rules.
● Pelts colors must be natural as well as designs. We do not want to see purple swirls or blue dots on any characters.
● The only eye colors restricted currently are purple, black, and white.
● The characters of HoA are bipedal/Anthro Not Furry. Meaning they can stand on their hind legs but share similar anatomy to their feral counterparts. Please do not overexaggerate anatomy.
● "Hair" on the head is allowed but it must only be an extension of the pelt. We do not want to see an orange cat with black hair if there is no black pattern to be found on it's face.

Creating the backstory for your new character may seem like a daunting task but this site, as well as the Group Main page, both contain a plethora of information to help you with this process. In this section I will explain what information is pertinent to matching your character's history to the group. So lets begin!
It's very important to note that The Houses are a huge part in the upbringing of every citizen in Agrendoc. At a young age, usually around 1 to 2 years old, the pup is either taken from their parents and raised within the deisgnated House Main Quarters or monitored very closely by the House representatives in their own Home in which they were born. During this time the young citizens go through discipline training. The training varies amongst Houses so it is best to brush up on House knowledge. Every House treats their young ones differently so to be completely accurate you must understand how your character was treated as a child. It is also important to understand that a character is not allowed to relinquish their servitude to the House in which they were raised. Many choose to stay within the House grounds or make their living amongst the rest of the town, but when called upon by their House they must respectfully accept or face dire consequences. The Houses will not take 'No' as an answer. Every House HeadQuarter is situated in each town, but the Houses usually have small branches stationed in every city for tactical purposes. For the most part the Houses remain civil for the betterment of Agrendoc, but it is not unusual for tension to rise. Whether your character is completely devoted to their House or waivering in their faith is entirely up to you. Now that we got a breifing about the Houses out of the way I have provided some extra highlights that are important to the creation of your characters.
● The Life Expectancy of a Citizen is 30 to 40 Years. Only the healthiest live to reach 40 though.
● Every Month in Our Year is a Single season in there's. Meaning every four months for us is a whole year to them. We have created this Role-play tim lapse for development purposes. Every Month the group will post a calendar page for that month and all the events will show.
● Ageing can be tricky since their life spans are a tad short, but here is an age list to follow:
0 to 2 infant, 2 to 4 Toddler, 5 to 8 Teen, 9 to 19 Young Adult, 20 to 30 Adult, and 30+ is Elder.
● When writing the history of your character please add events that pertain to their age.

A lot goes into making a character and we appreciate seeing your creativity run wild, but to keep things in order we have a couple of restrictions for those of you making your first character. Below we have grouped together some minor restrictions when adding to your character both physically and mentally. These restrictions are only around to make sure everyone gets a fair shot and being accepted into the group, so read carefully!
● Items are a fun way to help your character stand out from the crowd, but because the group offers a unique supply of items you can buy we prefer all starting out characters have only a couple items to show off.
● Piercings are allowed, but only a couple in the beginning. These can be placed on the ears, nose, or brow area.
● Tattoos are allowed, but they must be small and only 1 allowed at first. No offensive images!
●Jewelry is allowed, but only a small pendant or a couple of bracelets. More items can be purchased in the market.
● Weaponry is allowed, but like the others it must be limited. Only rusted brass items can be shown on the app sheet. The Houses will provide other weaponry as the story advances and the market will have a nice selection in time.
We do allow Physical and Severe Mental Disabilities but we keep track of them and only allow a certain number of characters that suffer from them into the group. We will have the numbers marked on the front page and ask that if you wish to create a character with a disablity that you note the group.
This also goes for Albino Characters, Naked Characters, and any other restricted quality we have placed on the group front page.
You've reached the End! Please keep in mind this walkthough is mostly focused on the physical aspect of your character. For details on the personality aspect please head over to The Joining Page for more details.
