Magic in the world of Agrendoc is a basic part of life. It is the backbone of the citizens' creation and the means in which they live their lives. Every citizen is born with magic but not all nurture that ember to reach the forest fire of magical perfection. This is all personal preference of course, but in society today anything less than a potent magical aura is frowned upon by upper class. Even in lower class systems magic is seen as a basis for reputation and who should or should not be messed with.

Within the towns it is not uncommon for two individuals to have a magical sparring match to see who is the better man, or rather, creature. This is likely in all social classes, what differs are the rules and the professionalism in which the matches are held.

The houses urge their members to grasp the flow of magic that courses through their veins and a healthy Aura is very well rewarded.

The leveling system in HoA is relatively simple. The levels of a character are based on the magical abilities they have in their arsenal. First let me supply you with a chart for reference and then we can move on to an example for ease of understanding.

Example time! Say a character has 5 Tier 1 abilities, 2 Tier 2 Abilites, No Tier 3 Abilites and only 1 Prime Ability. How many levels is this character? I know math is a terrible subject but once you get that part done you'll be satisfied with the outcome. Let's write it out.

Tier 1 (5 lvls) + Tier 2 (6 lvls) + Tier 3 (0 lvls) + Prime (10 lvls) = 21 lvls

This character is at lvl 21 with some pretty awesome abilites.

Be sure to visit our Magical Abilities Page to see what you can buy, and remember you must have Wyspers in your posession to be able to use certain magics.

For every tier 1 magic ability a character has they earn 1 lvl.  For tier 2 magics they earn 3 lvls. for Tier 3 abilities they earn 5 levels. For Prime abilities they earn 10, Prime being very rare and will require high levels to use the magical abilities.
